Grab & Go Food Pantry

Due to COVID-19, our food pantry has begun distributing Grab & Go Groceries for anyone in need. Getting groceries is easy!

  1. Simply visit the Aid in Milan building during our operating hours,

  2. Call the office at 734-439-8420, and

  3. Pick up your groceries at the pantry door 10-15 minutes later.

What is included? Our food pantry includes basics such as: shelf-stable canned goods and boxed items, fresh produce, frozen meat, bread, dairy products, and snacks.

Who can get groceries? Anyone who needs them.

When can I come? Grab & Go is open:

  • Wednesday: 10a - 2p

  • Thursday: 10a - 6p

  • Friday: 10a - 2p

We understand that families are often working multiple jobs to make things work, so if these hours do not work for your family’s schedule, please contact us here to schedule an appointment.

If you do not have transportation, please check to see if you qualify for our Pantry on Wheels Program or ask about the nearest Mobile Pantry coming up.

Where does the food come from? Our pantry is supplied through Food Gatherers, grants from area foundations and local governments, partnerships with local farms, and donations from our generous community.

We also offer the option of skipping the line by pre-ordering your groceries! Fill out your order and select your pick-up day and time here (orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance).

All of our programs are made possible because of our volunteers who show up everyday to keep things running. We couldn’t keep our shelves stocked, or our clients served without the dedicated crew of volunteers who give of their time and their talents as often as they can. No matter what your skillset or your level of ability- we need your help! Volunteer to meet new friends or bring your friends and family with you to volunteer! We just need your help! And you’ll get to immediately see the impact of your time when you volunteer with Aid in Milan.
