We offer monthly food assistance to qualified residents in the Milan area. In addition to submitting a completed intake form, you need to provide

  • photo ID
  • proof of residence in the Milan Area School District or in the 48160 ZIP code (such as a recent utility bill or a lease agreement)
  • proof of income (such as recent pay stubs, bank statement showing SSI deposits, or DHHS determination paperwork)
  • Birth Certificate for those listed on Intake Form with no photo ID
  • Social Security Card for all listed on intake form

Emergency food is available to our neighbors in need during walk-in hours.

Our food pantry includes food basics, fresh produce, frozen meat, chicken, and fish, and some dairy and eggs. We also offer personal care and housecleaning items, when available. We work in partnership with Food Gatherers for the majority of our food needs, but also receive a substantial amount of food and non-food items from community donations.
